Sentinel Security-A continuation or new beginning?

One of my recent posts mentioned two different concepts for future books – continue following Darian’s life in the early 1830’s or moving forward to the present when he’s finally joined with his Sentinel. I’m unable to choose. Which means I’ll continue working on both.

With that said, my amazingly talented artist has created the cover for Darian’s next book, Sentinel Security. The manuscript itself is about 2/3 done, and I’m hoping for an early spring release date.

Enjoy a small taste of what’s to come!

Evil doesn’t wait for anyone, least of all for mankind to grieve and rebuild.

Darian digs in and devotes all his time to his new security company. Like everyone else he knows, he’s trying to bury the pain and guilt of his failures. At every turn, he sees the faces of the men he led into battle – including the ones he couldn’t protect.

An assassination attempt on his most important client pulls him even deeper into the past, threatening to undo everything he and the Council of Light achieved with their sacrifices. When Darian reveals the mastermind behind the attempted murder, it’s the springboard to uncovering more secrets. Betrayals rise to the surface like oozing sores, uncovering former allies as enemies and unwitting associates as key players in the fight against the demon Overlords.

Darian can’t walk away from everything he knows and has seen, no matter how much he wishes he could.

The Council has no choice but to lend its trust to the untrustworthy, because the alternative is unthinkable. This time, death isn’t promised. An eternity of pain and torture is the reward.
